Boosky's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Boosky's Story...
Boosky is a 2 year old Maltese and weighs around 6 lbs. He's a sweet and adorable boy. Boosky loves to play with his toys but can be a little possessive of them. He could benefit from training and would do best in a home without children.

Boosky is currently in Lafayette, LA but we transport north every two weeks. Our adoption fee is $375 and includes transport. All LAA dogs are up to date on all vaccinations, spayed or neutered, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. Please fill out an application at http://lafayetteanimalaid.org/adopt/dog-adoption/application/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boosky, a Glastonbury Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
