Olivia's Story...
I’m the beautiful Olivia, a mostly white cat with beautiful tabby markings. I used to have a home, but my family could no longer take care of me. I love to be loved, and I just might come close if you call my name. Then I’ll start to purr to let you know how much I a-purr-ciate your attention! If you start to pet me, I’ll be overjoyed. I will also let you pick me up to snuggle me. While lots of the cats here at FOHA like to play with toys all day long, I’d just as soon received pets and snuggles. If people are around, I’m happiest. I’d make a wonderful addition to a feline-loving family. I cannot wait to find a forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Olivia, a Aldie Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Aldie, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
