Here's what the humans have to say about me:
LITTLE MISTER Male Dachshund/Chi X DOB Jan 2014 Contact: mehanni@gmail.com
Little Mister's foster Mom says he's the perfect little house guest. He's young, about 1-2 years old, probably long-haired Chihuahua mix with some Dachshund maybe. He's house-trained, crate-trained and walks very well on leash. He gets along with other dogs. His foster home has a female Shepherd and a male Boxer and they are fine together - he growls a bit when he feels insecure, they respectfully walk away and all is well. He's also fine with their old Cat. Loves sleeping on top of the sofakids. He prefers a home without young children.
He is a bit of a picky eater, but defends his food from the other dogs, even if he does not want it, so they eat separated and it is easily corrected when he growls, a simply "no!" does the trick.
He would prefer to be the center of attention, so only dog or with another little dog that doesn't play as rough as the big dogs do. He's also a great watch dog!
He's neutered, fully vaccinated and Micro chipped. He's going to be hard to part with, but he deserves a family that puts him at the center of attention, not one of the crowd like in my house says his foster Mom. Please contact Hanni at mehanni@gmail.com
*****If you would like more information about the dog featured above, be sure to send a note to the "Contact Person." This is the person fostering the dog and they will be happy to answer any questions you have. Please don't just show up at Adoption Day expecting every dog to be there. We are limited by the number of volunteers who can help at each Adoption Day.
Also, in sending your note to the Contact Person, be sure to include information about yourself, family, home, yard, fence, other pets, work situation, and pet accommodations. This information will help us make the best match between you and one of our dogs***
