Facts about Titus

  • Breed: Chihuahua Mix
  • Color: Brown/Chocolate - With Tan
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Male
little about 5 year old Titus (aka Ti-Ti) was abandoned/dropped off in a crate at a vet office together with his brother Brutus (he got adopted). The veterinarians took very good care of Titus and Brutus, made sure there was nothing wrong with them, then called The Nest to see if we could take them in. Luckily we had room in a foster home. Titus is a little shy at first but once he warms up to his person he is his/her best buddy and a wonderful companion who likes to have fun. Titus gets along great with other dogs - loves to play and run around in the yard with other dogs and he loves going for walks with his person. Overall Titus is very well behaved and he is house broken. For Titus we are looking for a calm and quiet environment - noises do scare him. He needs a securely fenced in yard. Titus weighs 7 lbs, he is neutered, current on vaccinations including Rabies. He tested negative for heartworm and is on heartworm and flea prevention. He also is micro chipped. His adoption fee is $150. If you are interested in adopting and/or meeting Titus please fill out an adoption application on our web site No small children please. more pictures are available upon request. If you submit an application and do not get a response from us within 24 hours, please email us at to let us know when you submitted it in case there was a problem with the web form. Thank you.

About The Nest

About Our Rescue Group...

The Nest,is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization. Our mission is to rescue, restore, and re-home animals that come from local animal shelters or from individuals who contact us directly.

We are guided by the following ideals:

We will always place the physical and mental well-being of our animals above our own and that of other individuals, making a constant effort to act as an advocate for the animals we serve.

We will to the best of our ability assist in the care and placement of animals that require our assistance, regardless of breed, age, demeanor, physical or behavioral health, because we believe that all animals at any stage in life and health have inherent value and an important place in the world in which we all live.

We will provide educational support for those individuals who seek our assistance, believing that educating the public is one of the keys to keeping animals in their homes and preventing senseless euthanasia.

We will provide ongoing care and homes for animals we cannot place in adoptive homes, because we believe that animals that make their way to The Nest should be cared for until their last days.
