"New day, new hopes, new life!!” (Lailah Gifty Akita) That is me! A good Samaritan witnessed me being dumped from a car at a 7-11 in Germantown. Thank heavens, she called the Montgomery County shelter and they picked me up. It was rough in the beginning and I was a bit confused, but I know I have a new life ahead of me. I am a beautiful, light cream-colored tabby with an expressive face. Even after my tough start, I love my humans, and will be your shadow, while I follow you around as you do things. I have never met a stranger and will greet anyone that comes in my front door. I do not like to be picked up, but if you let me find my way, you’ll see that I like to snuggle and will sit right next to you or on your lap. I’m wondering if you might fall in love with a young and active little darling who just wants to be safe, be loved, and wants play with feather and wand toys? When I get going I will leap high in the air t try to get my toy. Do you think you might have room in your heart for a loving cat who needs a forever home? I cannot wait for you to find me. I am here at the shelter waiting, so come quick! Life is short – let’s fill it up with love. I was born in 2013.
