Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Adopted August 2015
I'm Mya!
I am a 3yr old female Boxer Mix, Brindle in colour, and about 40 lbs. I've been spayed and I am up to date on my vaccinations. I am also house trained and was crate trained as a pup.
When life throws you lemons you just gotta make lemonade. I've lived with my family my entire life and it was pretty good until the "circumstance" happened. My Mama assured me that I didn't do anything wrong but because of circumstances beyond my control I gotta find some new digs.
Now I must confess, I'm a HUGE cuddler. It's true, I just can't help myself. When I see a human with open arms I just wanna crawl in and cuddle! I have no shame, I will cuddle anyone, anytime, anywhere! I'm workin' on my leash walking skills but I'm a quick learner so it shouldn't take long.
I'm what they call a "Great Companion" and I'm kinda proud of that title. I've lived with little kids before and am gentle and playful with them, I even enjoyed the cat. I am timid when it comes to other dogs, and strangers too, I tend to get pretty yappy at them. I'm not a beg for food kinda gal, not so much into toys or treats (I know, weird!) but I absolutely love attention, couches and beds, and can be very gentle. I get a little skittish when I hear an unexpected loud noise or sudden movement but we're workin' on that. I'm not demanding at all and my foster mama says I'm the easiest dog she's ever had!
Oh ya, I'm also a high activity dog so I would do really well with a family that has children or a couple that has lots of energy and time to shower me with love and attention.
