Piper's Story...
This litter is getting ready for their new homes and couldn't be cuter. They are being dewormed and will be given their first distemper shot prior to adoption. They are in a great foster home with two young boys that give them lots of attention and are very good with them. They like people, other cats and the family dog. They are to remain indoor only cats and never to be declawed.

Blue Sky Rescue of MN is a 501C3 foster based rescue that screens all applicants to ensure good homes for these kittens. Their adoption fee covers all vet care up to the adoption and the spay or neuter at 5 or 6 months at our approved vet clinics.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Piper, a Wayzata Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Wayzata, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Wayzata.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wayzata already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wayzata breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wayzata paves the way for another one to be saved.
