Petite & sweet, Mama Kitty has lived her whole life outside.  Recently she obtained some injuries that required medical attention and while recuperating at home, became became extremely social. She was also diagnosed with FIV.  Always a friendly but cautious kitty while living outside, she is enjoying being inside, loves the company of people and because of her diagnosis and sweet nature, deserves a home of her own. FIV is not fatal for cats and they can live relatively healthy lives for many years. Mama Kitty loves to be petted and brushed. If you scratch her belly she will flop down, roll over and let you rub her belly all day long! It has been wonderful to watch her transformation and although at first confused by toys, her favorites now are small fluffy balls and wand toys!

How To Adopt Me!

13thstcats.org is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, No-Kill Rescue Group based in San Jose.

We try our best to match our cats to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first serve basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular cat

About 13th St. Nac Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

13th Street Cats is an all volunteer organization dedicated to improving the lives of feral and social cats and reducing the population by TNR – Trap, Neuter, Return in Santa Clara County. Kittens and cats that can be socialized are taken into foster care while waiting adoption. With a no kill philosophy, 13th St Cats is pleased to be able to rescue these homeless animals who might otherwise end up in a local kill shelter, helping to reduce euthanasia rates.
