Layla (Guest)'s Story...
Meet wonderful little Miss Layla. Layla is a 4 month old Lab/Coonhound/shepherd mix that was pulled from death row. She is very playful and gets along well with other dogs and cats. Layla is currently in a foster home where they are training her and she seems to respond well to verbal commands and is starting to learn her boundaries and appropriate vs. inappropriate behavior. Layla loves attention and is very affectionate. She is showing traits of being very loyal and wants to be a part of all that is going on around her. She does need plenty of space to run and toys to play with. Layla is a great companion and will make an excellent addition to any family. Please contact Vicki at vickimac1026@yahoo.com about this little cutie pie.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Layla (Guest), a Decatur German Shepherd Dog/Black and Tan Coonhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Black and Tan Coonhound for sale in Decatur, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Black and Tan Coonhound puppy from a breeder in Decatur.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Decatur already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Decatur breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Black and Tan Coonhound breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Black and Tan Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Decatur paves the way for another one to be saved.
