Clark (Guest)'s Story...
We are talking CUTE CUTE CUTE. Take a look at this little guy. This is Clarke. He is a cattle dog mix puppy. He is approx 6-7 mo old and has been completely vetted. He is crate trained, and doing beautifully on his house training. Clarke needs a forever home. He is a fantastic size, only weighing in at 30 lbs. He isn't going to get any taller, he will thicken up as he gets older. He loves, loves playing with other dogs. He is very people oriented and is a great fetcher. Clarke is still very much a puppy and will need a home where he can continue getting structure and plenty of exercise! He is a herding breed, so agility, frisbee and any other fun sport would be great for him! Please forward to everyone you know who is a dog lover! Someone out there would love to add him to their home. He had a rough start to life, so let's get him a home. Please contact Blalock.Allison@yahoo.com or call 770-533-1966 if anyone is interested!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clark (Guest), a Decatur Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog for sale in Decatur, or seeking a Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Decatur.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Decatur already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Decatur breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog breeders who help with Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Decatur paves the way for another one to be saved.
