Scarlett (Guest)'s Story...
Miss Scarlett is just over a year old and 55 lbs. She's looking for a home with an active person(s) that also offers a fenced yard where she can run and play. She loves treats and nice long walks. Scarlett absolutely loves to play and would enjoy having other dogs as playmates or older children that could horse around with her. She'll make a great pal to whomever is lucky enough to get her and is happy to bring her crate along with her. Contact John at Hoover.gay@gmail.com or 770-650-6751 for more info.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scarlett (Guest), a Decatur Australian Shepherd/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie for sale in Decatur, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Decatur.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Decatur already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Decatur breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Border Collie breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Decatur paves the way for another one to be saved.
