Jackson's Story...
This sweet guy is ready for his frown to turn upside down when his forever family comes along!

Please consider this sweet and adorable boy. His name is Jackson. He’s an almost-3-year-old bloodhound/black lab mix and is the sweetest, most lovable dog. Just look at those ears!  He is excellent with other dogs and all people including kids.

Jackson is neutered, crate trained and up to date on his vaccines and hearts worm meds. He is currently stuck outside 24/7 with zero human or other pet interaction. His only form of shelter is a house that Lana bought for him last year but it is not heated and the temperatures each night are already in the low 30’s. L He needs a loving forever home where he can be indoors and part of the family. Please contact Amy  aimiablepetcare@aol.com for information on adopting this precious boy.

This adoptable is not a Doggie Harmony animal, but a courtesy listing on behalf of the kind person who rescued and cares for this animal until it can find a forever home. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jackson, a Decatur Bloodhound/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bloodhound/Labrador Retriever for sale in Decatur, or seeking a Bloodhound/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Decatur.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Decatur already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Decatur breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bloodhound/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Bloodhound/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Decatur paves the way for another one to be saved.
