This pretty girl is really not that demanding -- she just wants to be a pampered indoor kitty! She has been forced to live with barn cats (urrgh, yuck, she says) at her former home and it was not a good fit for her. She is loving being inside and getting attention from volunteers and visitors who ooh and aah over how pretty and cuddly she is. She uses a litterbox (did so before even when outside -- who doesn't?, she says) and is finding that the adjustment to the barn was much bigger than her adjustment to indoors. Aah, this is the life. Winters inside from now on! This lovely gal is meant to be a diva. Please visit her M-F 11-2 at the Stray Facility or email for an appointment and/or an adoption application. Moonlight is about 4-5 years old.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moonlight, a Fort Leavenworth Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Fort Leavenworth, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Fort Leavenworth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Leavenworth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Leavenworth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Leavenworth paves the way for another one to be saved.
