Maddie is an adorable, sweet blind girl. She has curly, short, red hair. Her weight is about 29 lbs. has a slender figure for her body structure. She is shy and quiet. Car rides and walks make her really nervous at this time, but this may change with time. She prefers to stay within her environment, where she is familiar with things. Maddie spends a lot of her time sleeping. Her favorite sleeping spot is usually between the dining room chairs, where she may feel safe. Maddie does not jump on furniture or get into trouble. Once she gets to know you she will give you gentle kisses, if you hold her closely. At this time she lives with 3 cocker spaniels (2 Males and 1 Female) and a male pomeranian. The other spaniel Joe is also blind, so often they do bump into each other. Fortunately, they do very well together, although she prefers not to be around kids. She is house trained and uses a doggy door. Her diet consists of dry dog food and is not on any special diet. Has been seen recently seen by a vet for her vision and is doing well. Her daily regimen is to use daily eye drops to prevent glaucoma. Her overall health is good for being about 10-12 yrs. If you are looking for a calm, sweet, easy going new member to your home, consider Maddie she is just that.
