GiGi's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

GiGi's Story...
Meet GiGi! We rescued her and her two nursing babies from the mega-deadly San Bernardino city shelter on the day they were set to be euthanized. We are so glad we got this sweet family out just in the nick of time!

GiGi is an approximately 4 year old Chihuahua that is just cute as can be! She is great with kids and is a total lap dog. GiGi is such a little lover and hates to be alone. She follows her foster mom all around the house! And when she sleeps, she likes to burrow under all the covers. How cute is that!?! GiGi may be small, but she has a BIG personality! She prefers to be the queen of her castle, and would do best in a house with no other dogs. She just simply doesn’t care about other dogs and chooses to ignore them on her walks.

GiGi is up to date on vaccines, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $150. If you are interested in adopting GiGi, please fill out our online application: https://theanimalpad.org/applications/adoption

Why Adoption is a Great Option

GiGi, a San Diego Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
