Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name could be itty-bitty... because I'm itty bitty. I AM just a puppy but I have this thing, a neurological problem, (I hope I spelled it right!), and so sometimes walking is hard for me, and so I get carried around a lot, and eating, is sometimes hard too. I need to be held up like a baby after I eat or I spit up. Its OK though because I really don't mind being carried around. I like other nice doggies, and because I'm so small and frail I need to be around bigger people who can be very careful with me. I take medicine. I am good on some days and I run and play like a regular puppy. The vet dr. says I will have good days and not as good days. Its OK, I've been like this forever so I adjust pretty good. I just need a forever family who can love and care for me FOREVER no matter what FOREVER brings.
Chihuahua Rescue says:
Carter is about 6 months old at present he is vaccinated, but not yet neutered because of his size and condition. He is doing well on medicine that he must have 3 times a day. His condition was most likely there when he was born and it would be the BEST if his adoptive home were able to keep him with his current vet for follow up care. He is located on the Northeast side of Indy/Fishers area.
There is no concrete information on whether Carter will have a normal life expectancy or if he has weeks or months to survive, but of course all this information would be disclosed to any prospective adopter. He is definitely a precious little guy and very puppy in most ways. Carter is about 3.5# at present and his adoption fee is $300.
