Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Beautiful Betty..... I have gorgeous brown eyes that show everyone how sweet I am. I had a very rough time when I first came to Chihuahua rescue and I almost didn't make it. But they were very good to me and took me to a special doggy hospital, I got taken care of very well and now I'm pretty darn spunky! I am still taking some medicine and I need to be watched, but so far, I'm doing GREAT! I think you will like me so lets meet, OK?
Chihuahua Rescue says: Betty had a bad infection when she came to rescue and had surgery immediately, but the surgery didn't correct her problem as it does in many cases, so she required intense care including a blood transfusion and multiple medications to control seizures. The seizures have not recurred and she is no longer showing any signs of the infection or low blood count. She is taking some seizure medicines but the plan is to wean her off of them. She is eating well and is friendly and happy getting along with the other pets in the foster home. Betty is about 3-5 years old, and weighs 12#, Her adoption fee is $250.
