My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Poppy is a doll! Her sweetness exudes as soon as you meet her. She is socially outgoing with people and other dogs alike.

Poppy appears to have had a rough start, but she is bouncing back with joy as she is experiencing all the good things in life! At a recent home visit, Poppy was beside herself to find a selection of bones…her excitement was adorable. She would take a bone to a special spot and chew it for a bit, then go to find another and repeat the process until she had a nice little pile next to her. It was as though she could not believe her luck!

Poppy is a very playful pup and will pounce on toys and run around the house with them in her mouth. So she’s very cute, very social and friendly, what else could you want? Intelligence! This little girl is a quick study and is thriving with clicker training! Her eyes light up when a training session begins, and she works very hard for a delicious morsel of food!

She is such a wonderful, well rounded girl!

Poppy weighed 17 pounds when we rescued her.
