If you see a pair of big, round, yellow eyes peering out at you from what appears to be a shadow, look again. You’re not seeing a shadow at all – you’re seeing Bentley, our big, handsome guy with the fluffy, soft, black coat that you immediately want to bury your face into!

This sweet guy can be shy at first but it doesn’t take long before he happily accepts your petting. Bentley loves attention and affection from his people!

Bentley’s inquisitive nature goes paw-in-paw with his playful nature. Bentley enjoys playing with all sorts of toys and especially seems partial to the elusive feather wands that for some reason repeatedly dance just out of paws reach!

Bentley gets along great with other kitties. In fact, one of his current roommates is his favorite playmate and wrestling partner! Between his friends and his toys, Bentley doesn’t find it hard to keep himself entertained!

About RESCUE

About Our Rescue Group...

RESCUE is a registered non-profit volunteer based animal rescue organization located in Maricopa County. RESCUE has no central facility and is volunteer run. Our focus is on the "kill lists." We were founded in 1995, and with the support of our volunteers and our community, we have found homes for over 11,000 dogs and cats. Our motto is for every animal adopted, we are back to rescue another. We depend on the community for our support and offer a variety of satisfying ways for you to get involved in our mission to end the killing of the orphaned dogs and cats. Please consider adopting, volunteering or donating.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not have a shelter. We are at various special events around the valley. Please see our Upcoming Events section on our website for further information. We look forward to meeting you and introducing you to some of our wonderful animals.

Our Adoption Process...

Fill out an online application, have an interview with a Matchmaker, if we are in philosophical alignment, set up a meet and greet and if all goes well finalize the adoption. Our service fee for dogs is $150 and $125 for cats. All our dogs and cats are spayed and neutered prior to adoption.
