Oakley feels more secure each day and is learning that life can be joyful in a loving foster home. She thrives when receiving gentle affection. Taking a dog treat was a new experience for her and now she is ready to take a treat when offered. Oakley is a bit hesitant with the “come” command especially when entering her foster home. She is somewhat reluctant to receive affection from her foster dad, but she is affectionate with her foster mom. Patience and a calm demeanor will be needed to win Oakley’s trust. She will thrive in a home with regular socialization, consistent care and love. Oakley walks nicely on a leash and will stick close to your side for reassurance when out and about. Oakley will blossom into a loyal and devoted pet, with love and consistent care.
