My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Christine ~ Available...Christine is a beautiful, black and tan German Shepherd. She is approximately two years old and weighs around 65 pounds.
She was found as a stray and tested positive for heartworms when we took her into our program. She has received Immiticide injections and has completed her treatment period.
Christine does well with other dogs and is cat-neutral but needs to be placed in a home with no children. She has a moderate energy level and knows basic obedience commands. We would prefer to place her in a home with German Shepherd experience.
All dogs adopted from Middle Tennessee German Shepherd Rescue are spayed/neutered, current on all vaccinations and microchipped and our adoption fee is $250. For more information or to request an adoption application, please email us at adoption.mtgsr@gmail.com
PLEASE NOTE: Our philosophy is “Rescue locally, place locally” which means we primarily pull dogs from shelters in the Nashville area AND we prefer to place our dogs in homes within a one-hour drive of Nashville. If you are outside of the Nashville area, please consider adopting a homeless dog in your local community.
