Maggie's Story...
Call Lydia at 714-357-8405 to meet Maggie. She was rescued from a high kill shelter (Devore) located in San Bernardino. She was a stray and was being fed while on the streets by kind strangers. Maggie is very docile, gentle and small, maybe 13 pounds. She will require some patience until she comes to the realization she is safe in your home. She's a lovely dog and will make a great family pet. I have faith in Maggie.

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Tibetan Spaniel/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in Santa Ana, or seeking a Tibetan Spaniel/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog from a breeder in Santa Ana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Ana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Ana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Tibetan Spaniel/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Tibetan Spaniel/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Ana paves the way for another one to be saved.
