My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MORRIGAN is a 2 1/2 year old spayed yellow female Lab that weighs 95 pounds but should only weight about 80 pounds. She is a sweet girl who loves to play. She likes to play catch me if you can with toys and loves the chase and keep away - very cute! She is good in the house and does not need to be crated. She has been very good with the foster's dogs and son. She pulls a bit on leash and needs to learn to take treats a little gentler but all in all a plug and play dog. Morrigan has never been crated but is house trained and does not need the crate. She has been great with all the fosters dogs - male and female. She has done well with foster's son so far. Morrigan is approved for kids ages 10+.

Update (7/4): FOSTER FRIDAY: Morrigan is a wonderful girl! She has not met a soft toy she can't destuff LOL but won't dare touch anything of yours. She is housebroken and does not require crating. She is good with kids 6 and up and other dogs. She needs to lose a bit of weight but that should not be hard as she is an energetic typical 2 year old girl. Her fosters says she is a great , easy girl! Oh, and for those of you that remember Johnny Hot Pants? This girl is the first foster to give him a run for his money LOL. Located in Dinwiddie VA - visit today!

Update (7/1): Morrigan has been an absolutely wonderful house guest. She listens very well most of the time. She is very loving and smart and loves to play with my other dogs and son. She is great at alerting to goings on outside and takes her job seriously lol. She loves to sleep in the bed, play keep away and certainly enjoys her toys! She has lost a few pounds and on her way to her "summer swimsuit figure". Morrigan is working on her leash walking and releasing her toys when told to do so. She is anxiously awaiting a forever family that can love her and handle her given her typical 2 year old lab energy level.

Update (6/25): Morrigan continues to do great in her foster home. She has free run of the home and is a good girl. She sleeps in the foster's son's room and loves to play with toys with him, although she will not always give them back. She is enjoying the AC a lot while she tries to lose a little weight but she is doing great!

Update (6/22): Morrigan is a wonderful house guest. Other than her penchant for destuffing soft toys, she does not mess with anything else in the home and can be uncrated. She gets along with all the dogs and is great with the foster's son. Due to this and the kid history we have found out on her, we are lowering her kid age to 6 years old. She does need to lose weight and the heat bothers her with the extra weight so her time outdoors playing and romping should be limited while it is so hot, until she loses her "freshman 15". We are also working on her taking treats more gently but she is getting better with that also. Such a nice girl!
