Alley's Story...
This poor guinea pig was found in a cage with the lid half off in an alley in Detroit. Hence, his name is Alley. A wonderful women found the cage and thought it was empty but discovered it had a guinea pig in it. She was surprised that it was still alive with multiple feral cats roaming the grounds. She took it in but found out that her husband was allergic to it, so she contacted us to rescue him. He was awfully dirty and stained from being in his dirty environment in the alley. So I bathed him and brushed him. I cant imagine what life he led before we got him.

Alley is a fine gentleman, he scrambles when you try and pick him up but once in your arms he snuggles. Alley needs a forever loving home, he deserves a second chance. Alley is looking for you, will you adopt him and give him a family?

Alley is currently at Pet Supplies Plus in Royal Oak, or you may go to tinypaws.org and fill out an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alley, a Warren Guinea Pig was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Guinea Pig for sale in Warren, or seeking a Guinea Pig from a breeder in Warren.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warren already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warren breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Guinea Pig breeders who help with Guinea Pig rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warren paves the way for another one to be saved.
