Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Little Zoey has a unique look and an awesome personality! This little 1.5-year-old shar pei/terrier mix has been compared to everything from a warthog (have you seen her amazing fur?), to a pygmy hippo. But unlike her wild counterparts, Zoey makes quite a good house pet. Zoey came to The Pet Rescue Center when her parents found out they had to move and could not take their beloved dog with them. She is potty trained and plays well with other dogs. She is equally enthusiastic about long walks and couch surfing. If you’re in search of a companion that is perfectly sized and cute as can be, have we got the girl for you! Call The Pet Rescue Center today and make an appointment to meet Zoey.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
