Piper's Story...
Piper is so beautiful! Everyone who sees her says that she has the most unique markings they have ever seen (including the staff at her vet's office!). She looks like a orange tabby who stepped through ashes or oil. Not only is she uniquely beautiful, but she is a cuddle bug. She cuddles and naps with her siblings, Peter and Pepper, but also her foster parents, and their children, cats, and dog. She loves to play with everyone, too, even the dog, though he is much larger than she. Piper is very chatty, especially when it's time for her to eat. Get this beautiful girl before she is gone! She is available now.

If you'd like to talk with the foster parent and learn more about Piper, please email info@FORrescue.net. You may also complete the application at www.FORrescue.net and get things started! It isn't a commitment, simply a starting point. Thank you! Piper is fostered in Huntsville, AL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Piper, a Homewood Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
