Bella's Info...

Bella's Story...
I'm a 3 year old, spayed female Basset/ Beagle mix.  My owners moved and took two of their dogs with them but said they couldn't take all three, so they brought me to the shelter.  I'm such a sweet dog that friends who know me well came to the shelter to tell all about me so that a new owner would know what a good dog I am!  I'm housebroken and kennel trained.  I'm good with children and infants and generally social with people and other dogs. Commands I know are:  sit, shake, high five, up and lay down.  I'm a wonderfully ready-made companion for any family. Please visit with me to see if you can give one who's been left behind, a forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Fort Walton Beach Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound for sale in Fort Walton Beach, or seeking a Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Fort Walton Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Walton Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Walton Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound breeders who help with Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Walton Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
