Meet the cutest little GSD-Spitz (guessing!) ever- the adorable baby Dempsey! Dempsey is only 5 months old and weighs 20lbs now but will likely be 30-40lbs when full grown. Little Dempsey was rescued out of high kill Georgia and will soon be on his way to Washington State. Dempsey is doing great in foster care. He is super smart; he knows sit, down, stay, come and walks awesome on a leash. Foster Tracy has continued his crate training and finished his house training and has done an excellent job continuing his socialization with other dogs. He enjoys being with other dogs of all sizes and temperaments- ranging from a Pomeranians to Labradors! But what he really loves is being with you! Dempsey digs his daily 2 mile walk and is everyone’s best friend. He gets lots of comments on his stunning good looks and questions about his breed as he is such a pretty boy and such a good-natured dog. Dempsey loves kids and is in a household with an older kid now- and he likes that age to play with him. Dempsey is equally as friendly with cats. True to his sturdy and outgoing breeds, Dempsey can play and run for hours! But settles nicely in the house and is not hyper or crazy indoors. Best baby Dempsey knows all his basic commands; several hand signals and loves being in the house. Dempsey is still a pup so will grow into his confidence and personality. Dempsey has medium energy level and likes playing with dogs older and bigger than himself. He would enjoy a yard to run around in but would also be fine in a condo or townhome if he got regular exercise and training time. He will be a great exercise partner and loves being outdoors. Dempsey rides well in the car and is quiet and calm in the house. He is a big snuggler and a happy house puppy who is ready for formal training. He will make you proud as he’ll be the star and training teacher’s pet! This loveable and lively Shep. mix will make his transition easy as he loves everyone he meets and according to his “mom” is better than most adult dogs they encounter and there isn’t a single person that he has met that hasn’t fallen in love with him! Dempsey will be arriving in Woodinville on June 20th and will be ready to get on with his terrific new life!! He is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped.
