Mickey's Story...
M-I-C…K-E-Y…M-O-U…wait, wait! It’s just Mickey, and I am waaayyyy cuter than that silly mouse! I bet I could be an icon, too, with these good looks and comical personality. I am fun and playful, good with other dogs and savvy cats, too. I do enjoy my playful antics and have a great sense of humor…until you try to take my stuff away! Since I haven’t yet learned to share a home with children, 12+ is a must. Rumor has it I am housebroken already, I am also crate trained, quite smart, and I just love to go for walks. So come along and sing a song with me! 3 years old-14lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes neuter, microchip & registration, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, reduced-cost training class, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mickey, a Portland Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Portland, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
