I am already neutered and up to date with shots.
Hello, big world! My name is Christan, and I am so excited to meet you! My name came honestly, since I was found all alone on church property, and brought here to this happy place. To my new friends, I may be a Lab or Chow mix, but in my opinion, I'm just a good boy looking for love. They say I was lucky that nothing got me before I was rescued and brought here since I'm still pretty young at about 3 or 4 months old. I have learned so much in the three weeks I have been here. I have learned that I don't have to be afraid anymore, that I really am loved, that I can play to my heart's content, that my life matters. And I've learned that I love toys! I never had any before, as all of this was new to me, but boy, those squeaky toys are so cool! And treats... Who knew? Certainly not me! I am hoping for an active family, one with a fenced yard that I can feel safe in when I'm playing outside. See, I have lots of puppy energy and need a space to run and play in. But I'm also hoping for loving humans to share things with me. Things like being a part of their pack, training so that I will always know how to be a good boy, couch for just hanging out with my people, maybe even a big bed to share with my humans! Yep, I dream big. Come by the shelter and meet me.

Breed identification by visual means is unreliable for most dogs. We are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. Each dog at CARA is an individual and we do our best to describe each animal based on personality, not by breed label.
