My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please meet Quincy. Quincy is a purebred male boxer who is in search of his fur-ever home and hopes he can find it before his 7th birthday on July 10, 2015. Quincy is being re-homed through no fault of his own. His people find themselves having to move to a senior community with a weight limit for pets. Unfortunately, Quincy is a large boy of 77 lbs., therefore too large for the senior community. Quincy is current on vaccines and has been neutered.

Quincy is good with dogs, including small dogs as he is living with a Boston Terrier in his home. Quincy does become a little anxious however, when he is in the company of many dogs at once therefore a home that want’s to frequent a dog park would not be a match for Quincy and it is not necessary as he is a bit of a couch potato, enjoying his home.. He enjoys a simple walk now and then too. He is potty trained and knows the following commands: sit, come, down, and heel. He also knows some hand signals. Quincy enjoys car rides. Quincy responds well to “No” as he does want to jump on people when he first meets them. Quincy has not lived with children however has been exposed to children, the youngest being 5 yrs old. Because Quincy doesn’t realize how large he is and still has a tendency to jump on new people now and again, a home with children 12 yrs and older would be best for Quincy.

Quincy simply likes people and would thoroughly enjoy hanging out with you as your companion.
