My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

As you can see from the “before” photo, this darling little dog was not well taken care of as his beautiful curly coat was full of burrs and stickers when we meet him at a local shelter and had to be completed shaved off. When we first took him out of his kennel he was SO happy to have a chance to run and stretch his legs he ran circles around the play yard for nearly 5 minutes before he lied down from exhaustion and shear delight. His previous owners probably was left outside by himself as he didn’t have any manners or know any obedience commands when we first evaluated him for our special training program. Now “Sunny” is a “Rock Star” as he knows all his commands and quite a few tricks.

He is one of the happiest little dogs you’ll ever meet and gets alone with people of all ages and other dogs. He enjoys spending time sitting on your lap as a loving companion, but also enjoys running and playing fetch with everyone he meets.
Despite his small size, he is a great little watch dog and will let you know when a stranger approaches your home or family.

“Sunny” has a few more weeks in his training program and will be ready for his forever home on June 26th. Please contact us today so you can meet this charming and adorable little dog!
