Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Gypsy would like to forget her last seven years or so. She was living in a home, but we can only imagine what an unpleasant environment that must have been. People that would tape a cat into a cardboard box, leave it for hours on the shelter steps, and speed away without so much as a note are not good and kind. She was also severely neglected. Nearly almost all her teeth had to be pulled due to infection and gum disease. Ok, Gypsy says let’s move on. She is not one that wants to be depressed. She is still a little skittish, but she is getting more relaxed and outgoing every day. It’s clear that we have an affectionate lap cat who is looking for all the attention she missed out on in previous years. When you are in Gypsy’s “inner circle” you will get the bonus treat of a sweet meow or two when Gypsy knows you are near! Gypsy has been through a lot. She would probably do best as an only cat, or with a cat that also enjoys his or her own space!
