Bailey's Story...
Please visit our main website at www.boxer-rescue-la.com for most recent list of available Boxers and to fill out an adoption application. Due to the volume of inquiries our volunteers receive we are unable to reply to inquiries without a completed adoption application.

Bailey was found and taken in by a nice family that includes one and three year old kids and a cat. She did not have a collar or microchip and they tried to find her owners to no avail. Bailey loves her little kids and they love to play with her and lay on her. She is fine with the family cat in the home. She also loves any and all dogs she has met and been able to play with. This family also lives in Colorado and they feel the back and forth would not provide the stability a young dog will thrive on. Bailey is looking for a new family and is not picky about who that includes as far as other creatures large or small. She is a puppy and as everyone knows – puppies require time, attention and some training.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a Encino Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Encino, or seeking a Boxer puppy from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
