My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Big Chuck here! I was at another shelter since July 2014 and no one ever adopted me. I'm now here at Friendship so I decided to speak for myself. I'm a good boy. Actually I'm a senior gentleman at 9 years of age and in very good health. I'm very people friendly and like kids of all ages but would rather live with kids over 6 years of age so they're not always tugging at me. Some dogs I like and others I don't. I'm a little picky when I'm selecting my friends. It's been quite awhile since I've been around cats so I really don't know how I'd react. I'm a little strong when you first take me out for a walk but calm down nicely once I do my business. It's hard being in a cage all day and not getting to go when you need to. If you need a best friend, I'm you're dog. I need one too. I will be as loyal as can be. Stop by anytime for a visit...and please hurry. I've had enough of being in a cage all the time. I want to spend my golden years on the couch watching TV with my master.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
