My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maple Nut is a 3 year old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. He was part of a hoarding situation so this boy has a lot of catching up to do. Maple has lived most of his life in a cage and hasn't had many "dog life" experiences. He learns new things each and everyday. Mr. Nut is a sweet boy that is starting to enjoy attention and is realizing there's more to life than living in a cage. He's very gentle and not nippy at all. He will need lots of patience, training and most of all love. He's not yet house trained but is starting to walk pretty well on a leash. Can someone please open up their heart and home to this wonderful little pooch named Maple Nut.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
