This pretty little lady is Penelope, a darling little pit mix that is about 1 to 2 years old and is ready to begin her life again in a loving home. Penelope came to us from our Newark facility after she spent several months there hoping to get noticed. They just loved this little princess but no one seemed to offer her a home, so she has come down to Popcorn Park for a change of scenery. Penelope is truly a little doll. She is a petite girl and is quite puppyish. When you go to take her for a walk, she will lay on her belly and crawl to you. Once leashed up, her whole body wiggles with delight at the thought of getting in some playtime. Penelope is well behaved and walks nicely on a leash. She loves to go in our exercise yard and run-hops in laps to get her energy out. She doesn't know much about toys, but will figure it out soon enough. Penelope seems to like other dogs and met some cats in our free-roaming area and was happy to check them out too. She would be a perfect addition to any loving family that will give her the lifetime of happiness that she deserves. File#24870 6/11/15
