Cupcake 2's Story...
Hi, I’m Cupcake! I used to live outside with a bunch of other kitties. Someone was feeding me, but I was never spayed. So I’ve had two litters of kittens. I was rescued by these nice people and ARC and now I’m all fixed up.

I’m a very mellow little girl. Not much bothers me. I’m friendly and enjoy meeting new people. I really love grown up people and older children. But, I do NOT like other cats at all (or dogs for that matter). I want to be the center of your world and be your only kitty.

I’m very low maintenance – easy to trim my nails and brush me.

I’m not much into playing but I do like scratching posts, catnip and a nice cat tree near a window where I can watch birds. I love to give head butts, kisses and sit on your lap to cuddle while you watch TV. I am a little princess and very neat. I really like to have my litter box scooped twice a day. Thank you so much for that.

As much as my foster mommies love me, it’s time for me to find a fur-ever home of my own with my special people to cuddle. If you are looking for a low-maintenance fur friend for life, I’m the one for you!

Purrs, Cupcake

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cupcake 2, a Bulverde Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bulverde, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bulverde.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bulverde already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bulverde breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bulverde paves the way for another one to be saved.
