Dharma's Story...
This litter of Schnauzer/Terrier mix pups were surrendered to a local shelter when they were just a couple weeks old - poor babies were covered in fleas and had so many intestinal parasites, but they are all healthy now! These sweeties have all been in foster care and are happy and social puppies. They are currently about 7 weeks old (as of 6 /13/15) and weigh in around 2 pounds. If you'd like to add one of these pups to your family, please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an online application. They are currently in foster care in Wes TN and will be transported once an adoption is finalized.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dharma, a Allentown Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
