Kora's Story...
There are three of these three 10 week old dolls -- Shepps (male), Miki and Kora. Their mom is a Blue Heeler/Red Heeler mix who looks very much Heeler, and pups were born March 31st. Miki is the only one who looks like her mom. They are exceptionally smart, were fully potty trained at 8 weeks old, and they are kennel trained. They are all three very affectionate and friendly, with distinct personalities of their own. Miki (12 lbs) likes to be held, is very sweet, calm, and more dainty. Shepps (19 lbs) is the boy, is much bigger boned and a chunky monkey, very chilled out and mellow, and even lazy at times. He likes a long nap outside in the shade after chow time, where the girls want to be in the air conditioning playing or napping. Kora (16 lbs) is the boss of the three, is very outspoken and is the adventurous one. She's also big boned like Shepps. They are great with kids and dogs, have not been around cats but would likely be fine (we can test if needed). They are very well-socialized.

Kora's name means companion in Australian (Heelers are Australian dogs).

Adoption fee is $325 and includes spay/neuter, all shots, worming, microchip. Transport fee to New England is $125-140. They are being fostered in central Arkansas. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kora, a Somers Blue Heeler/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler/Border Collie for sale in Somers, or seeking a Blue Heeler/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Somers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Somers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Somers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler/Border Collie breeders who help with Blue Heeler/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Somers paves the way for another one to be saved.
