My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi beagle friends. My name is Chance and I am a 7 yr. old beagle boy that needs to find a new home. I lived with my family my whole life and was a happy boy during that time. Unfortunately, things changed for me when my parents got divorced. Afterwards, I was sent to a few different places to live, but eventually ended up in Beagle Rescue. Now, I have to figure out where I will live during the next chapter of my life. I am house trained and already learning the rules at Penny Angels. I get along fine with the other beagles in Rescue and seem to be adjusting well to my new surroundings.

I am a bigger boy and weigh about 47 lbs., but that just means that there is more of me to love. I have some energy at times and walk well on a leash, but I am also a couch potato that enjoys his ‘down’ time. I can get grumpy, though, when someone wakes me from a sound sleep. Can you blame me? I surely know the value of a good snooze! I would do best in a home with older children who know not to disturb me when I am catching some zzzzzz.
