My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

RAMIE and siblings were rescued from a high kill shelter with their mother when they were just 1 week old. This lucky little family all got to stay together until they were 7 weeks old. At 7 weeks they were split into pairs and went to loving foster families where they are getting tons one on one attention. These puppies have reaped the benefits of having their mom and littermates through the crucial developmental stages. Because of this, they are happy, healthy, curious, confident puppies. They are equal amounts of puppy kisses, play, and sleep. They actually know not to potty in their crate so they are crate trained for time periods up to 3 hours. Their bladders are too tiny to hold it any longer at this point. This is an amazing group of pups who are ready to bring bundles of fluffy joy to their forever families! As of 6/15/15 they are 7 weeks old. They are available for transport at 10 weeks. Their mother is a beautiful and kind white German shepherd who weighs approximately 50 lbs. Their father is unknown. While these puppies could be pure German Shepherds we cannot make any guarantees.

RAMIE is microchipped, current on heart worm, flea, and tick preventative, and will be vaccinated as many time as age will allow before travelling to a forever home.
The $450 adoption fee includes health certificate and transport to the Midwest.

All of our pets start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted at which time they travel via transport to their new forever home. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well educated decision from well qualified staff.
