Sparky - ADOPTION PENDING's Story...
Meet Sparky. He is a middle aged Silky Terrier thought to be about 7 years old. Sparky is a neutered male that was loved, but lost his home when his owner went to assisted living. Sparky is a great companion. Not too young and not too old, he has good manners, but plenty of life and personality. He loves to play with his ball, he walks politely on leash, but is content to sit on your lap which is his favorite spot. At night, Sparky wants to sleep in bed with you. Sparky is friendly with people and dogs. He has not been tested with cats or small children. Weighing about 15 lbs, he is not too big or too small and would make the ideal companion for a retired person that just wants a friend. If you would like to be Sparky's friend, call Julie at 262 835-9309 or 262 758-0420

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sparky - ADOPTION PENDING, a Union Grove Silky Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Silky Terrier for sale in Union Grove, or seeking a Silky Terrier dog from a breeder in Union Grove.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Union Grove already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Union Grove breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Silky Terrier breeders who help with Silky Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Union Grove paves the way for another one to be saved.
