Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kane is an adorable fellow, great with other dogs and happy to be alive! He was on the kill list at the pound, and kenneled with his friend Kory. He was pretty attached to his friend, so I pulled both of them. Kane is a great size, happy temperament and ready for his forever home!!
This is from Kane's new foster mommy in Seattle: 'Kane is a delight! He plays well with our larger dog, leading the charge, even, without any of the defiant aggressiveness you sometimes see in small dogs. As long as our four cats leave him alone, he leaves them alone in return, walking right by them in the hallway, but a non-dog comfortable cat could set off his barking. He's great with being petted by my young (5 & under) kids, but he is food and toy protective and would be better around older kids who understand and can help train him. Kane spends the night quietly in his crate, and even after a long trip from Texas to Washington has only had one accident on the very first day because we didn't put him out soon enough. Kane is very smart, already learning what 'off' means in regards to the couch and the bed, and he responds very well to leash training. He's ready to be somebody's cheerful, affectionate best friend!'
GOD'S DOGS' Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations and rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice at a minimum. They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED (EVEN transport from San Antonio to the NW) IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $350.00. All our dogs are socialized and we try to provide you a good understanding of the dogs personality.
