Lenny's Story...
Hi! My name is Lenny. I'm a 2 year old Domestic Longhair I have been neutered, de-wormed and I have received my first set of vaccinations. I will still require a rabies vaccine after I am adopted.

Hi! I'm Lenny, and it is nice to meet you. I am a talker, and I definitely won't be shy when it's time to introduce myself! I love meeting new people. I make sure all the employees here at the shelter are aware of my presence, come chat with me, and give me the attention that I love so much. I will fit into any home, and I will love to hog all the covers on your bed and steal your nice warm spot on the couch when you leave. But don't worry, I will snuggle with you too! I love belly rubs and ear scratches. I can also get pretty playful, so I'm the best of both worlds! I hope you come see me soon, and then take me home with you before you leave. Meow with you later!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lenny, a Lloydminster Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Lloydminster, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Lloydminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lloydminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lloydminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lloydminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
