Bo's Story...
Bo is a 5/6 year old Yorkie mix. He weighs 10 pounds and is the sweetest boy you will ever meet. He has led a sad life of breeding, but he has so much to offer the right adopter. There is nothing more special than adopting a retired breeder and Bo will prove this fact. Bo is potty trained, walks very well on a leash, and he likes to walk behind you and tries to jump in your arms for snuggles and cuddling. Bo loves to be with his human at all times. He will be the best cuddle bug in the world. Bo sleeps with his foster mom and makes sure he is close by all night. Bo will not be adopted into a home with small children as they may scare him. He does well with other small dogs and prefers no dominant dogs in his new home. Bo is being fostered South of Chicago IL. You can reach his foster mom Tracy at 815-674-9176 or adeany@mchsi.com or Vicki at 262-496-9324. His adoption fee is $300. Bo is up to date on shots and will be neutered and have a dental for an approved adopter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bo, a Union Grove Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Union Grove, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Union Grove.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Union Grove already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Union Grove breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Union Grove paves the way for another one to be saved.
