Hi!

My name is Crystal Blue.

I am a female, purebred Merle Great Dane.

I am five years old.

I am a big girl, weighing 138 lbs.

I am very loving girl with a very sweet personality.

I do not do well with small children.

I do very well on car rides.

I like to shadow my human leader.

I am staying with my foster canine and gets along with him.

I am also staying with a dog-friendly foster feline. I do have a tendency to track the cat’s every move. Whenever the cat runs, I run.

I visited the vet recently and I really liked the vet staff. They like me so much, they gave me plenty of treats! The vet said that my benign bumps/lumps on my legs and paws must’ve been the result of my laying on very rough surfaces for extended long periods of time.

The vet also said that it appears that I had puppies recently and I will be spayed this month.

I am cleared of heart-worm and parasites. I’m, up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies.

My foster momma is teaching me basic commands such as: “Sit”, “Leave it”, “Outside”, “Potty”, and “Inside”.

My foster momma says that my potty training is pretty darn good!

My crate training is pretty good, too. At first, I had a few accidents in my crate due to my nervousness. The more time I go in and out of the crate (with door open), the more confident I’m gaining. I also need a blanket or sheet over my crate, to avoid seeing any distractions.

I do drink lots of water. I need to be monitored so that I don’t drink too much.

I LOVE to be on the furniture! But, my foster momma says “Not on my furnitures!”
I’m starting to think that my real name is “Leave it” because I keep returning to her furnitures.
It’s really hard to stay off of her furnitures. Will YOU let me on your furnitures?

I like making my foster momma laugh. Since I love going on car rides, I’d jump into her Smart Car instead of her truck. Can you imagine my large frame in that little car?

My foster momma wants me to tell you this:
“Crystal is a typical Dane! She seems to love people and wants to play with the dog and cat. She needs someone patient that will continue to work with her on basic training and manners. She will make some family very happy!”
