Chubbs's Story...
Please meet Chubbs. Chubbs, and his slimmer brother, Bingo, were found running down the side of the highway in rural Mississippi. Luckily for them, their finders just happened to be an animal lover and regular foster for us. She contacted us and asked if we could help find forever homes for them, we said, yes, of course!

These adorable brothers are really lovely dogs. They walk around the foster's property off leash, and have no desire to be lost ever again (truth be told we think they never wanted to be lost in the first place - they were likely dumped.) They are great with other dogs and kids. Chubb's adoption fee is $200 and will include his neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchipping and deworming. Please email wilsonanimalrescue@yahoo.com for an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chubbs, a Nashville Collie/Jack Russell Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Collie/Jack Russell Terrier puppy from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Collie/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
