Tigger's Story...
The wonderful thing about Tigger, is Tigger is a wonderful thing!

This orange tabby boy is an eight year old domestic short hair looking for his forever home. Tigger is a sweet boy with a little weight to lose, and a lot of love to give. He enjoys being petted and brushed and will let you scratch his chin until your hand falls off!

Tigger would do best in a quiet home as the only feline, as he can be a little shy at times and does not particularly enjoy the company of other cats. He came to us when his previous owner fell quite ill and poor Tigger was becoming anxious because of it.

This handsome man is already neutered, FiV/FeLV negative, up to date on all his vaccinations and his adoption fee is only $40. If you are willing to let this fluffy little tiger into your heart and home, we encourage you to meet sweet Tigger today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tigger, a Germantown Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
