Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Tux. I'm approximately 6 years old, and I weigh 27 lbs. I live in a wonderful foster home in Texas. I'm a perfectly normal dog from the waist up but from the waist down, I have just a little difficulty. You see I'm an IVDD boy but I can from time to time walk just a little when I don't get in a big hurry which isn't very often.
Because I've IVDD, I must have my bladder expressed at least twice a day and I'm on a special diet to keep from forming crystals in my bladder that could form stones. I also have medication that I take twice a day to help with this also that I will have to take for the rest of my life. Now as I stated before I'm a perfectly normal boy for the most part. I would love a home with other doggies and kids over the age of 10 years.
I love to play fetch with my foster mom and play tug-a-war with my foster bother Little Johnny. And going outside is my favorite thing to do as I love to dig holes. My foster mom laughs at me cause I can dig a hole to China in 2.3 seconds because I'm a very strong boy from the waist up. And I'm so fast!!!! I have a cart that I use sometimes but not all the time. My foster mom covers my back feet up so I won't scrap them and I really love to get around like that the best. I chase my foster brothers and sisters around the yard, bark at the horses in the pasture and generally just have a great time.
And then there is the snuggling!!!!! I love to snuggle on the couch with my foster mom and get lots of belly rubs. But you will need to put my belly band on me when we do this and make sure I have done the other business as I don't have a lot of control over those 2 things. I will follow you everywhere you go and that includes the bathroom. Yes you will have no privacy what so ever whether you are in the shower, dressing, etc. My foster mom says I'm such a good boy and when I really like you I'll give you a kiss or two every once in a while.
